How to remove black marks from stainless steel refrigerator?

We accidentally got some cleaner on our refrigerator when we were cleaning the tiles in front end of it. Unfortunately information technology took some time before nosotros noticed and it left some blackness spots/marks on the surface.

Bar Keeper's friend is probably your best bet with stainless, but if this has eaten into the finish, it may exist difficult/impossible to remove and have it looking like new.

This is the correct answer. Unfortunately the only thing that will get this off is sanding through the corroded layer of steel.

I got some acid-type cleaner on a stainless steel table at a eatery I managed one time. Didn't really hurt anything, only the stain was in that location for my entire eating place career.
